The City of Corvallis, Oregon has revised its land development code. Revisions to the code are effective Thursday, December 13, 2012, and was adopted by the City Council on December 3, 2012.
The Land Development Code contains land use requirements and standards for development within the City of Corvallis. According to the city’s web site the code amendments fall into five categories:
Proposed code changes related to infill development; “housekeeping” items that correct inconsistencies and omissions in the LDC; substantive items intended to streamline the implementation of the LDC; items to facilitate production of, and access to, “local food;” and increased on-site parking requirements for most types of 4- and 5-bedroom dwelling units (excludes single family dwellings on individual lots).
All land use applications and building permit applications submitted on, or after, December 13, 2012, will be subject to the revised standards. To read the code: Land Development Code
